When it rains it pours. I’ve noticed that there is more acting work when I’m busy then when I’m waiting around (that being said I’m never REALLY simply waiting- there is so much to do that I’ll never get bored). Last night I was offered a sound recording for a project in between the two auditions I had planned today and the factory work tonight (that I need to keep the wheels moving). On top of that I have a doctors appointment (just leaving them now) for muscle tension (too much computers when I was younger). The first audition was called off this morning due to rain but the second (tonight) still stands just before my all night shift. This Saturday and Sunday I had a filming engagement but that was called off by the producer due to “personal reasons” (and may not be un-shelved for at least a year). This will allow me to get some sleep between the two overnight factory jobs tonight and Saturday night. Personally I’d prefer to get work in Brisbane / Redcliffe area (even though I live in Surfers Paradise) as I want to move up there later on- the sooner the better. It’s up to me to get the footage back from two recent projects (JIM & Masquerade) so to make a new showreel for the next month as well as pick up my shoes (accidentally left on set a week or so ago). Financially I’ve hit the red line, my emergency fund is drained (I lent my friend the entirety of it and she is slowly paying me back), my main fund is also drained (Centrelink won’t kick in till Tuesday at the earliest), but I still have credit on my credit card so I won’t go hungry. Also I’ve got some bites for my SEO business which is should follow up and some Binary Options trading I should also follow up on. In terms of training I’ve recently decided to drop singing and pick up an American accent. I’ve already bought an ebook and paid for training to start in May (it’s what drained the last of my capital) As for big projects the large feature film will begin (for me at least) in June and I should get to the gym to make sure I can fit into costume before then.
