Keeping the ship moving

yesterday I was lucky to get an interview with Craig McMahon to discuss my future with film and TV in Australia. I wasn’t sure what I could get out of it but I don’t think I screwed it up either. Basically it comes down to how dedicated I am to the industry? I brought up studying at Uni or external drama place and they said if I wanted to I should but didn’t give me advice one way or another. He’d wedged me in between auditions for his course which I thought generous of him. True I was shuffled out quickly but that’s no fault of either of us. The girl who was two before me took too long and put his schedule back and what I was after was a recommendation (which no professional in their right mind would put forward unless they had all the facts anyway). Besides he knew we had probably discussed everything and the schedule was running late.

I had rushed there from a short half day at Tree Top Challenge at Mt. Tambourine (HIGHLY recommended!) and it was worth the trip :))

This week I must find financial sources to keep me afloat while acting. Considering how good I am at Search Engine Optimisation I may lead towards that or pick up hospitality work (I finished my food safety course 2 weeks ago and already have an RSA). Thanks to my recent tax return I was able to pay for car registration and get comprehensive car insurance (first time in my life).

I’m going to go to the gym (Ashmore’s World Gym) regularly as well as walk on my treadmill every spare moment I have. I WANT to loose weight 🙂

Life is good when I’m working towards something, have friends, and have enough money to buy the essentials.
