Yesterday’s audition and today on set

Yeaterday night I drove to Redcliffe for an audition and I’m very ambivalent about joining them. It’s a free production (most things are for most actors in QLD) but (a) it’s a 1 hour and 40 min drive from home one way, 3 Saturday’s in a row, a unknown director, and to top it off they want me to pay $40 for the footage after the it’s finally finished (a dvd). Too many problems. If they have good work then it may be worth hooking my wagon to them but I’d have to see their previous outings- I’ll call the mum and son this afternoon for more info (I also quoted my camera skills to them which they make hire me for as a paid position). Yep spoke over the phone and they refuse to show any info over the Internet (except pictures which mean nothing). Too many red flags. I had to cancel- anyone expecting actors to work for free should be flexible and she wasn’t flexible on ANYTHING and refused to show proof of her 19 year old sons experience. Nothing but trouble in the future on many levels and they gave me no reason to trust them at all and no reason for me to put myself out for them (and then had the gall to force ME to pay at the end). Ha!!!

Today I was on set and had a great time. I wish I could tell u more 🙂 more filming tomorrow. Possible project with Tim Carr on Thursday.
